As we said our good byes to August and hellos to September...This brings us to do a recap of August...Well no big shock the month of August dished up well below normal temps for the area...Looks like we will be able to write up this summer as well below normal temps...A year without a summer is what some a calling it...I do have to agree with that statement!...Rainfall for this August was slightly above normal,however for the year we are still well below normal in the precip dept...As of August 25 we are still locked under severe drought conditions...August brought us 10 thunderstorm days,which is the most we had all summer...Last August we only had 6 thunderstorm days...August also brought parts of the FA their first frost of the late summer/early fall...What will this new month hold for us..We shall find out soon enough....Thinking is as of right now, temps will be near normal through out the month...Precip shall be also near normal....just a reminder our winter forecast will be coming up in a few short weeks....You won't want to miss it!.....
