***HEAT AND HUMID CONDITIONS***
Timing 11 AM through 7 PM...

First let’s start with the severe weather threat for this late afternoon and evening…

***SEVERE WEATHER TREAT FOR THIS EVENING***

Very strong cap is in place over the FA, however this do show signs of weaken this evening…Low pressure over Northeastern CO/Southwestern NE is forecasted to lift Northeast into Northeast NE by later this afternoon, meanwhile another low pressure over North central MN is projected to lift into Northeastern MN/Canada..This afternoon…This is forecasted to drag a slow moving cold front into the Eastern part of MN between 15z and 18z time frame….Dewpoints are forecasted to soar into the upper 70s…As of 9:00 am dewpoints are in the middle 70s here at the office…CAPE is forecasted to ratchet up to 4000 J/KG to 4500 J/KG Lifted Index ranges from -2 to -6 ….Mian threat from Severe thunderstorms later this afternoon into the evening hours will be large hail and damaging winds….One or two tornadoes may be possible along the cold front…However zone is narrow and the threat should be short lived before thunderstorms form into lines and MCS, areas that have a better chance at seeing a tornado or two would be over in MN….

***HEAT AND HUMID CONDITIONS***

Today will be hotter and more humid than yesterday…Temps should have no problem reaching the middle to upper 90s… A few spots may see 100….Dewpoints will be rather high middle to upper 70s…Don’t think we will see any 80 dewpoints as corn is not the high yet….However temps and dewpoints combined heat index should range from 100 to 110 throughout the FA……

***FAST WEEKEND FORECAST***

SATURDAY….Early morning showers/storms ending then sunny cooler less humid highs lower 80s…Low Saturday night in the middle to upper 50s under clear skies.

SUNDAY…. Partly cloudy highs lower 80s lows Sunday night lower 60s.

4th of July….Sunny to partly cloudy highs lower to middle 80s…

Fireworks display forecast... Pc dry temps 70…..Later.... lows in the middle 60 with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms…Thunderstorms are not excepted to be severe.
