June falls by the wayside as being colder than normal.

How cold or how warm was the month of June?....
Well most will be surprised that June was a another cold month despite a week/week and half of warm weather...Lets break this down...Most of this come from my own records,however some stats do come from the NWS...We see some frost through out Barron County on June 1 and June 4...Here at my office I recorded temps 34.8 on June 1 and 34.7 on June 4.....The highest temps came in on June 23 90.5 and on June 24 temps hit 93.7...June did set some record cold highs....June 6 52° this broke the old record of 55° set back in 1886....June 8 high of 57° this ties the record of 57° which happen back in 1937,and 1957...June 30 we had a high of 59° this broke the record of 65° set back in 1986......As a rule we have on the ave 3 90°> in the month of June this year we only seen 2...So that is cooler....80°> days stand at 12 We should have had 14...So this is cooler....70°> days..We saw 24..We should have had 26...So once again this is cooler 60°> days...We had 26..We should have had 30...So yeah this is cooler...So June falls by the wayside as being cooler than normal....I still don't have all the precip numbers crunched yet..So for now will skip that....We had 6 thunderstorms days this June...We had no severe thunderstorms in the month of June....
